Participants who ate 300 grams of fresh mango daily, roughly one whole fruit a day, showed meaningful improvements in fasting blood glucose and body composition compared with a control group that consumed a low-sugar granola bar. While the findings are intriguing, experts caution that this is early-stage research involving a small number of participants, and mango should not be seen as a cure or a stand-alone remedy for diabetes risk.
